Cheers to a Colorful New Year

Role: Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Video Director, Producer, Editor
Client: VHB

This campaign played on the popular trend of coloring books. Coloring is a fun and stress-relieving activity that seems appropriate during a hectic time of year. Each client received a holiday card along with small cards to color and post to VHB’s social media using the hashtag #VHBHolidayCheer. Eblast greetings were also sent with a link to a short and upbeat timelapse video of VHB’ers coloring a large-format poster that reveals the message “Cheers!” Since filming was in the Watertown office, coloring kits and posters were sent to all 24 offices to include them in the creativity and invited to share on social media. In addition to being a GDUSA American Graphic Design Awards Winner, this project also won in the category “Creative Use of Color” sponsored by Pantone.

Energy Conservation Campaign

Role: Graphic Designer, Illustrator
Client: Boston Public Schools

In an effort to conserve water and energy, the Environment Department initiated a five month-long contest for the Boston Public Schools to compete in saving at least 5% of their energy and water usage, with prize money for the winning schools. I worked with them to design an informational flyer about the contest and a poster with tips for saving energy and water at school. The poster had to be easy for teachers to print out and hang up in addition to simply communicating tips to all students, including those for whom English is a second language.
