Diversity & Inclusion, Keys to Success & Lessons Learned

Client: Design Professionals Coalition, Diversity & Inclusion Working Group (DIWG)
This report needed to summarize the research that the DIWG conducted about establishing Diversity and Inclusion Employee Resource Groups for companies in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries. The visual concept was inspired by diversity and inclusion. I used bold photos from the AEC industries that show inclusive groupings of similar objects, which also show a diverse make up of individual ones.
Advancing Medicine Through Technology

Client: Boston University, Department of Biomedical Engineering
This annual report needed to align with Boston University brand standards while giving the department its own unique look and feel. The theme of advancing medicine through technology is conveyed through the graphic elements of a circuit board and the caduceus, the symbol from Greek mythology that has become a traditional symbol for medicine.
Taking Action, Creating Change

The goal of this sustainability report was to communicate VHB’s four pillars of sustainability—Our Communities, Our People, Our Operations and Our Projects. The visual concept was inspired by the introductory text of the Our Communities pillar, “even the smallest action can affect the lives of others and our planet.” This reminded me of how the “domino effect” works, with one event setting off a chain of similar events. In this case, a small action that has the power to create change.
