Watertown Office Headquarters | Wayfinding

Role: Art Director, Graphic Designer, Illustrator
Client: VHB

After extensive renovations VHB’s Watertown, MA office needed a new system of wayfinding. I worked with the Facilities team to identify signage needs throughout the building. I also worked with our fabricator to design the signs, some of which needed to meet ADA guidelines. I chose a slate gray finish with brushed aluminum text to complement the building accents. For the icons, I was inspired by the line and continuity of Alexander Calder’s wire sculptures.

Logo Signs

Role: Art Director, Graphic Designer
Client: VHB

I was responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of the new logo office signage for 24 offices. The “bowl” of the logo provided an opportunity to use a variety of plexiglass thicknesses and two different finishes to create visual depth and a three-dimensional look. I also worked on additional logo signs around the company including suite signs, front door graphics, monument and building signs.
